The Hazel Park Amateur Radio Club will host a Technician Class Amateur License Course

WHEN: Mondays, from September 8, 2014  to November 10, 2014  (excluding 10/27)

TIME: 7 PM to 9 PM

WHERE: Macomb Intermediate School District Building (MISD)
              44001 Garfield Rd.
              Clinton Township, MI 48038


First Session: Room 104.  Park in South Lot

INSTRUCTORS: Rich Urbano, KC8WPW, and Walt Carter, KD8LWC

COST: FREE Instruction.
License Manual: $25 Cash Only --includes large laminated Band Plan--available from instructors at first session.
FCC License Exam held at Last Session ($15 fee)
Registration:  Pre-registration is Necessary, by August 1, 2014
This class is for Adults Only, 18 and over

Morse Code is no longer required for Amateur Radio Licensing!

Here are a few video's of the tower install at Neil's, kd8blw. We are looking for 50ft of coax to finish the job. KK4HIR, KD8VHE and Myself along with Neils son and several friends installed the tower in a little over 4 hours. Thanks to everyone that has helped Neil and we hope to get him even farther along in coming weeks so that he can be active on 10m.

I want to wish a Safe and Happy Memorial Day weekend to each of you and your families.  Please take a minute to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and their families.

There is some unknown website listed on the Echolink program that doesn't refer Echolink users to the proper site. The Echolink node information has not been updated in sometime.

I've sent this to several people in the club. Hopefully this will be a central location for this and many more video's.

The event is Sunday May 4. We meet at Willow MetroPark in the pool area about 6:30 AM, it runs until around 4:00PM. I need name ,call and what type of equipment.
