    Joel Stanley WU8Y passed away last Tuesday night from a sudden illness. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, September 16, 2 to 7 visitation with a service to follow at 7pm. Please spread the word and thank you

    The board of the Motor City Radio Club regrets to inform you of the passing of Camden "Duffy" Duffield, K8ETL, age 77, of Trenton on July 17, 2019.  Duffy was a long time member of the MCRC and part of our VE team.

    Visitation will be Monday, July 22 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM at:

    Trenton, MI. 

    Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

    It is with a heavy heart that the board of the MCRC inform its members of the passing of Stuart Keeler KC8HEB,  Tuesday evening 5-14-19.

    Stuart and Denise (KC8HDX) are long time MCRC members that were very active until there retirement and have just recently returned to the club.. Stuart will be missed and our deepest condolences go to Denise and her family.

    There will be a small memorial service Saturday at 2 pm, at St Thomas Lutheran Church Grosse ile  The family is asking no flowers, Donations  may be made to Leader Dogs For The Blind or Grosse Ile Animal Hospital.

    Our 2019 Skywarn presentation was excellent. Thank you to the National Weather Service for putting on a great presentation. Thank you to the guests that came out to see the presentation. Hopefully, you found it informative and maybe think about trying out ham radio.

    Dear Motor City Radio Club.. It is with a heavy heart that i inform you of the passing of Bruno  WA8DHP.

    Bruno was a current member of the Livonia amateur radio club, and Past member / President of the MCRC\,  President in 1967 - 1968.  It was always a joy to hear Bruno check in on the MCRC 2 meter net he will be truly missed.     The MCRC will offer the Technician Amateur Radio instructional class at for FREE at the Bacon Library in Wyandotte.
